TomTom product selector

The new TomTom selector was a brand new HTML & Javascript version of the Flash product selector we built previously. Due to the increase in mobile devices it became necessary to update the TomTom selector from its previous Flash version to a newer HTML version—allowing anyone to view it on any device.

Due to the fact this could be placed on any retail site, the new selector had to be built as flexible as possible; it was therefore produced with responsive capabilities; it adapted to work at various widths and seamlessly fitted into any external website.

The design was consistent to the TomTom brand and provided a unique opportunity to showcase TomTom in an accessible way. It was hosted by Designbooth and used a custom content management system, allowing easy updates to product ranges when necessary. The user interface required a lot of information to be stored and displayed within a small space on screen; therefore functionality was key during the planning of this project.
