It meant they could also benefit from the pro version of the number one WordPress tool for events called the events calendar that we installed, so they could easily manage the events that they put on at the theatre & museum. They didn’t want the design of the site changed, but rather they wanted the engine of the site changed but not the body. So behind-the-scenes we had to transfer all content from Umbraco to WordPress while maintaining the same design look and feel to the front end of the website. All we added was the the new animation on the spring logo hover over it with your mouse to find out!

The guys at the famous Spring Arts and Heritage Centre in Havant really disliked using the Umbraco content management system (which use is in decline across the web) which this site was originally built with by another agency. They wanted to switch to WordPress for ease of use and benefit from the regular updates and wider software ecosystem.
